China launches new remote sensing satellite group

A modified Long March-6 carrier rocket carrying a group of remote sensing satellites blasts off from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in north China's Shanxi Province on Sept. 7, 2025.

The satellites of the Yaogan-40 03 group were launched at 12:34 a.m. (Beijing Time) and they entered the preset orbits successfully.

They will be used to carry out electromagnetic environment detection and related technical tests. (Photo by Shang Yuhang/Xinhua)
