A group of African students studying at China Agricultural University have recently been busy conducting research and learning techniques in Quzhou county, Handan, Hebei province.
The 15 students from China Agricultural University have been in Quzhou since September last year for the Sino-Africa Science and Technology Backyard project.
During the year-long practical training, they focused on learning about the service-oriented agricultural production model for small-scale farmers.
The Sino-Africa Science and Technology Backyard project was launched in 2019, aiming to provide technological support and talent for agricultural development in Africa through agricultural practices and technology exchange, according to the university.
The project has trained over 70 agricultural students from 14 African countries.
