According to the statistics from WHO on Thursday, there are currently 59 confirmed cases of COVID-19 infections in Kenya. The Africa Star Railways Operation Company, which is also known as Afristar, has implemented six comprehensive prevention and control measures in order to ensure that the Mombasa-Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway operates in a safe manner and guarantee the health and security of its passengers and crew. These measures include: temperature screening, wearing face masks, sanitization of trains and train stations, attaching empty cars to trains for isolation purposes, using personal hygiene products, and posting prevention and control announcements and notices.
