Rural tourism promoted to preserve ancient village, boost economy in China's Henan

Photo taken on Dec. 3, 2019 shows a view of Xihe Village in Xinxian County, central China's Henan Province. In recent years, the local government has made great efforts to preserve the ancient village's features and boost its economy through promoting rural tourism. The ancient village, with a history of more than 700 years, is capable of receiving over 300,000 tourists annually. (Xinhua/Lu Peng)
