Balin Left Banner has in recent years been committed to developing the comprehensive industrial chain of broom that involves planting, processing, product development, promotion and sales and brand building, as a way to help farmers boost their income. By the end of 2018, about 65,000 people had been involved in the broom industry, by which more than 6,000 people had been lifted out of poverty. (Xinhua/Peng Yuan)
