122 village-level PV power stations start operation in China's Datong to boost households' income

Aerial photo taken on May 21, 2019 shows a photovoltaic (PV) power station in Yanggao County of Datong City, north China's Shanxi Province. Datong has vigorously developed construction of PV power stations on barren mountains, saline-alkali land and coal mining subsidence areas. A total of 122 village-level PV power stations have started operation, helping boost income of poverty-stricken households in more than 400 villages in Datong. (Xinhua/Cao Yang)
