African students learn desertification combating technology in China

Nakanyala Elina Shekupe (1st R) learns desert control in Minqin County, northwest China's Gansu Province, Aug. 26, 2018. Shekupe, 37, is an agricultural technology official from Namibia. She and 11 other students are taking part in a desertification combating and ecological restoration training course organized by China's Ministry of Commerce in Gansu. "I hope more and more African friends will come to China to learn new technology on desert control and benefit people in their hometown, " she said. (Xinhua/Chen Bin)
