Printing and dyeing factories in Shaoxing, east China's Zhejiang

A staff member at a waste water disposal company shows samples of wastewater and treated water in Shaoxing, east China's Zhejiang Province, July 26, 2018. Starting from 2010, the printing and dyeing factories scattered around Keqiao District of Shaoxing have gone through a three-phase restructuring scheme, which managed to gather them in a dedicated industrial zone equipped with eco-friendly utilities and waste disposal facilities. In 2017, the total product value of the industry saw a year-on-year growth of 20. 3 percent, while production of printed textiles grew by 12 percent. (Xinhua/Weng Xinyang)
