Green industry developed to boost local economy in SW China's Tibet

Two villagers plant trees at an agricultural and husbandry demonstration base in Zhanang County of Shannan City, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, July 23, 2018. The local government has taken great effort to bid for investment on green industry to boost local economy. Fueled by well-established enterprises, about 2,800 residents of 720 households realized a total income growth of 15 million yuan (about 2.2 million U.S. dollars) in 2017.
