BAKU, May 21 (Xinhua) -- At least two people were killed and two others injured after an explosion hit a cafe in the Azerbaijani capital of Baku on Monday, Russian news agencies reported.

The cafe is located near Elite shopping center and the injured have been hospitalized for severe burns, said Safia Akhmedova, spokeswoman for the Azerbaijani Ministry of Health.

Both the deceased are workers at the cafe.

According to local media reports, the explosion was possibly caused by a gas leak. Enditem
