Rozier helps Celtics beat 76ers in Eastern Conference semi Game 1

WASHINGTON, May 1 (Xinhua) -- Terry Rozier scored 29 points as the Boston Celtics smashed the Philadelphia 76ers 117-101 in the opening game of their Eastern Conference semifinals on Monday.
"We got together yesterday and we had a plan. No matter who it is out there, we're going to play hard and take care of business," Rozier said.
Al Horford finished with 26 points while first-year Celtics forward Tatum added a career-high 28 points. Joel Embiid had 31 points and 13 rebounds for the 76ers. J.J. Redick had 20 points, while Ben Simmons grabbed 18 points, seven rebounds and six assists.
"I just think defensively we did a great job tonight, really containing them and just trying to play with pace at the other end," Horford said after the game.
Game two will take place in Boston on Thursday. Enditem
