WASHINGTON, April 28 (Xinhua) -- The Golden State Warriors will be playing without their top scorer Stephen Curry as they begin their second-round matchup against Anthony Davis' New Orleans Pelicans, according to Warriors coach Steve Kerr on Saturday.
"I fully expect him to play Tuesday night" for Game 2, Kerr said ahead of the Game 1 which will be played on Saturday night.
Curry has not played since March 23 due to sprained left knee, but the Warriors still cruised to a 4-1 first-round series win over the San Antonio Spurs.
The Warriors are aiming for their fourth consecutive trip to the NBA Finals and third championship over the last four years. Enditem
