WASHINGTON, April 28 (Xinhua) -- Philadelphia Union defeated D.C. United 3-2 at the Talen Energy Stadium in the MLS league on Saturday.

D.C. took the early lead with a left-footed shot from Zoltan Stieber in the seventh minute, but Philadelphia got back on track when Ilsinho's shot deflected in 30 minutes later and C.J. Sapong gave Philadelphia a 2-1 lead in the 60th.

D.C. leveled it at 2-2 with a nice volley by Darren Mattocks in the 70th minute, but Philadelphia wasted no time in re-taking the lead when Borek Dockal struck his first MLS goal to seal the win and snap the club's five-game winless streak. Enditem
