BANGKOK -- China offered 1.7 million U.S. dollars from the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation (LMC) Special Fund to Thailand on Wednesday to boost cross-border economy and trade, business exchange and e-commerce.

Chinese Ambassador to Thailand Lyu Jian and Permanent Secretary of Thai Ministry of Commerce Nuntawan Sakuntanaga signed the cooperation agreement on LMC Special Fund projects here on Wednesday. (Thailand-China-LMC)

SEOUL -- South Korea and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) have agreed to live broadcast major events of the upcoming inter-Korean summit later this month, the Blue House of South Korea said Wednesday.

The two sides agreed to live broadcast major schedules and events of the summit between South Korean President Moon Jae-in and top DPRK leader Kim Jong Un to the entire world, from the very first scene in which Moon and Kim would shake hands, the Blue House said. (S.Korea-DPRK-Summit)

ISLAMABAD -- Pakistan's provincial government of the northern province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will purchase 380 buses from China to be utilized in the Rapid Bus Transit Service project.

A spokesperson of the provincial government said on Wednesday that a delegation of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government will leave for China on Friday to procure the buses for the project. (Pakistan-China-Bus)

TOKYO -- Japan's Administrative Vice Finance Minister Junichi Fukuda will resign from his post amid allegations that he sexually harassed female reporters, Finance Minister Taro Aso said on Wednesday.
