Kenya reiterates support for Sudan to achieve stability

KHARTOUM, April 10 (Xinhua) -- Kenya's Vice President William Ruto on Tuesday reiterated his country's support for Sudan to achieve peace and stability and prepare a permanent constitution for the country.

Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir on Tuesday received in Khartoum Kenya's Vice President William Ruto who is currently visiting Sudan.

"Kenya will stand by the government of Sudan, President al-Bashir and the people of Sudan as you fashion a new constitution," Ruto told reporters following his meeting with al-Bashir.

He further explained that Kenya is seeking to make use of Sudan's experiences in fields of agriculture and food production.

Ruto arrived in the Sudanese capital Khartoum on Monday for a three-day official visit to the country.

During the visit, he would visit a number of institutions and development projects in Sudan. Enditem
