Kuwait, Vietnam vow to enhance trade ties

KUWAIT CITY, April 10 (Xinhua) -- Kuwait and Vietnam are prepared to promote bilateral economic and trade relations, the Kuwait News Agency said on Tuesday.

Fahad Al-Joan, a member of Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry, mentioned agreements to expand Kuwait's direct investment in Vietnam as he spoke to reporters on the sidelines of a meeting with a visiting Vietnamese delegation.

The trade volume between Kuwait and Vietnam reached 500 million U.S. dollars in 2017, he said.

As to oil investment, he said Kuwait has 150 fuel stations in Vietnam, a figure which is predicted to hit 300 in the future. Enditem
