Sierra Leone electoral commission postpones presidential runoff

FREETOWN, March 26 (Xinhua) -- An official release from the Sierra Leone National Electoral Commission (NEC) on Monday stated that the presidential run-off election scheduled to take place on March 27 has been postponed to March 31.

The NEC said that the deferment of the election was largely due to logistical delay resulting from a High Court injunction imposed on the election on Saturday. That injunction was lifted on Monday. Enditem
