Two forestry officials killed in west Burkina Faso

OUAGADOUGOU, March 26 (Xinhua) -- Two water and forestry officials were killed on Monday in gunfire with armed individuals on the Sideradougou-Ouo road in western Burkina Faso on the border with Cote d'Ivoire.

In a statement of the Ministry of Environment, this attack has resulted in the death of two forestry agents.

The attack happened in 5:30 am, when a patrol team of five members were attacked by armed individuals who robbed two public transport buses, the statement said. Enditem
