French shares drop 0.57 pct on Monday

PARIS, March 26 (Xinhua) -- French shares lost on Monday, with the benchmark Paris CAC 40 down 0.57 percent, or 28.94 points, to close at 5,066.28 points.

Of the 40 selected large companies, 35 lost in the day.

UK-based company that provides complete project life cycle services TechnipFMC was down 2.65 percent, the top loser of the blue chips. European IT services corporation Atos lost 2.17 percent. French multinational automotive supplier VALEO lost 2.03 percent.

French multinational car manufacturer PEUGEOT rose 1.18 percent. French European multinational luxury goods conglomerate LVMH gained 0.37 percent. Another French multinational car manufacturer RENAULT up 0.34 percent. Enditem
