LUSAKA, March 23 (Xinhua) -- The following are news highlights in Zambia's major media outlets on Friday

--Opposition political parties have submitted to the Clerk of the Zambian parliament to impeach President Edgar Lungu.

A copy of the notice of motion of impeachment indicates that the opposition lawmakers have submitted grounds and signatures of one third of them supporting the motion. (Daily Nation)

--Zambian President Edgar Lungu said his government's aspiration to transform the country into a medical tourism hub will only be successful with the availability of quality health facilities.

Lungu said at a groundbreaking ceremony for the expansion of a military hospital said when medical tourism was realized, it will tremendously contribute to the national treasury. (Zambia Daily Mail)

--Petroleum transporters have welcomed the decision by Zambia's energy regulator to introduce a fuel marking system, saying it will curb the smuggling of fuel into the country.

Petroleum Transporters Association of Zambia general secretary Benson Tembo said the system would not only reduce smuggling but also allow government to increase revenue as all finished petroleum products would be accounted for. (Times of Zambia)

--Zambia's representative in the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Champions League has described the draw for the group stage as fair.

Zesco United, who stormed the group stage after eliminating ASEC Mimosa of Ivory Coast, said the draws in the group stage where the team has been drawn against Mbabane Swallows, Etoile du Sahel, Primeiro do Agosto in Group D was fair and that it was ready to face any opponent. (The Mast) Enditem
