Czech Republic coach expects tough game against Uruguay in China Cup

Xinhua,March 22, 2018 Adjust font size:

NANNING, China, March 22 (Xinhua) -- The Czech Republic coach Karel Jarolim said here on Thursday that the first game against Uruguay in the China Cup would be difficult as they have Luis Suarez and Edison Cavani.

Jarolim's team didn't arrive in Nanning until this morning, which is one day behind the original schedule. But Jarolim believed there's still enough time for his players' preparation for the game on Friday.

"The coach has made detailed tactical arrangement for the team. But we are playing against the one of the world's best players like Suarez and Cavani, so we have to ge fully prepared and it would be a fantastic game tommorrow,"Czech's captain Marek Suchy said.

When asked whether he will deploy different players in the two games of China Cup, Jarolim said he would love to, but he hasn't decided yet because the players are still recovering from jet legs and he will not make the decision until tommorrow.

The Czech Republic will play Uruguay on March 23. The winner goes into the final directly and the loser enters the third-place playoff. Enditem
