Spanish share prices down by 0.52 pct on Wednesday

MADRID, March 21 (Xinhua) -- The Spanish Ibex 35-stock market lost 0.52 percent of its value during trading on Wednesday and closed on 9,630.90 points.

Steel company Arcelormittal S.A was the main winner on the day as its share values climbed by 3.94 percent, followed by global technology giant Indra, which saw its shares rise by 2.71 percent, and renewable energy company Siemens Gamesa with an increase in share prices by 2.52 percent.

All of the banks on the Ibex-35 saw their values fall on Wednesday, but the main loser on the day was the International Consolidated Airlines Group (IAG) with a 2.11 percent loss in share values.

Inditex, which is behind brands such as Zara, lost 1.49 percent of its value, followed by infrastructure group Ferrovial which suffered a 1.42 percent drop in share prices. Enditem
