MUMBAI, March 21 (Xinhua) -- Indian markets closed higher Wednesday.

Benchmark indices lost more than half of gains as the volatility increased ahead of the outcome of Federal Reserve's policy meeting due later in the day.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 33,136.18, 139.42 point or 0.42 percent up compared to its previous close at 32,996.76. Enditem
