NAIROBI, March 21 (Xinhua) -- The following are the news highlights in Kenyan media outlets on Wednesday

-- Opposition National Super Alliance (NASA) senators on Tuesday defied their leader and ousted the coalition's co-principal from the Minority Leader position. Sources said the 28 senators declined an invitation for a meeting with their leader Raila Odinga to talk them out of their planned action, instead went ahead with the voting at Parliament Buildings. Odinga had met with his co-principals in NASA to assure them that he was not behind the coup that widens rift in the coalition. (The Standard)

-- The ruling Jubilee Party on Tuesday dismissed claims that controversial data mining company Cambridge Analytica had secretly worked for President Uhuru Kenyatta's re-election in last year's polls. But the party admitted that Jubilee had contracted SCL, an affiliate of Cambridge Analytica, for "branding" in the 2017 polls. (Daily Nation)

-- The Law Society of Kenya has thrown its weight behind the Salaries and Remuneration Commission bid to ensure Members of Parliament take pay cuts. (The Star).
