Udinese striker Aguirre set for Botafogo move

RIO DE JANEIRO, March 8 (Xinhua) -- Udinese striker Rodrigo Aguirre is set to join Botafogo on loan after agreeing to financial terms with the Brazilian club.
The 23-year-old is currently in Rio de Janeiro for a routine medical exam and is expected to sign a deal by the weekend.
"I'm happy to have finally come to an agreement. Hopefully it all goes to plan," he told reporters.
Local media reported that Aguirre, who has not played since November because of a knee injury, will be tied to Botafogo until mid-2019.
Aguirre joined Italian Serie A side Udinese in 2014 and has since been loaned out to Empoli, Perugia, FC Lugano and Club Nacional. Enditem
