JOHANNESBURG -- South African President Cyril Ramaphosa on Monday night reshuffled the Cabinet, relieving some of their duties while assigning some to new portfolios.
Ramaphosa announced the reshuffle at a press briefing in Pretoria on Monday night. Ramaphosa appointed the African National Congress (ANC) deputy president David Mabuza as the country's deputy president. (South Africa-Cabinet)

UNITED NATIONS -- The Security Council on Monday adopted a Russian-drafted resolution on a technical rollover of the Yemen sanctions regime.
The unanimous vote followed a Russian veto of a UK-drafted text that contained language of Iranian "non-compliance" with the UN sanctions regime against individuals and entities deemed to be engaging in or providing support for acts that threaten the peace, security or stability of Yemen. WASHINGTON -- The U.S. Supreme Court refused on Monday to take up the Trump administration's appeal of a lower court ruling that requires it to continue a program that protects hundreds of thousands of young immigrants from deportation.
"The petition for a writ of certiorari before judgment is denied without prejudice," said a court filing. "It is assumed that the Court of Appeals will proceed expeditiously to decide this case" on the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, or DACA. (US-DACA)
