Dollar changes hands in lower 107 yen range in early trade in Tokyo

TOKYO, Feb. 27 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the 107 yen range in early deals in Tokyo on Tuesday, marginally higher than its level in New York overnight.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 107.10-11 yen compared with 106.89-99 yen in New York and 106.54-55 yen at 5 p.m. on Monday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.2314-2316 dollars and 131.89-90 yen against 1.2312-2322 dollars and 131.68-78 yen in New York and 1.2320-2321 dollars and 131.26-30 yen in late Monday afternoon trade in Tokyo. Enditem
