HONG KONG, Feb. 26 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 6.0-magnitude jolted 50 km off Mendi, Papua New Guinea, at 08:26:59 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 23.64 km, was initially determined to be at 6.4274 degrees south latitude and 143.2706 degrees east longitude. Enditem
