NAIROBI, Jan. 23 (Xinhua) -- The following are the news highlights in Kenyan media outlets on Tuesday.

-- Two eminent judges on Monday warned Kenya of the political risk it faces for failing to cure the weaknesses in the electoral systems.(The Standard)

-- The Attorney General on Monday moved to the High Court to stop further establishment of the People's Assembly by opposition leaning County Assemblies. In the petition, the Attorney General noted that the move to form the assemblies contravenes constitution. (Daily Nation).

-- In a major space science breakthrough, Kenya has built its first satellite mainly to observe farming trends and monitor the coastline. The tiny 10cm by 10cm nano satellite is to be launched in April. (The Star).
