Olympiacos beat Maccabi 94-64 in Euroleague

ATHENS, Jan. 16 (Xinhua) - Greece's Olympiacos Piraeus beat Israel's Maccabi Tel Aviv 94-64 in the 18th round of the Euroleague at the Peace and Friendship Stadium at Piraeus port on Tuesday.

The Greek hosts achieved their 13th victory so far, coming from a defeat last week from Baskonia Vitoria.

Among the best scorers for Olympiakos on Tuesday were Vassilis Spanoulis with 13 points and Nikola Milutinov and Jamel McLean with 12 points each.

On Maccabi's part, the top scorer was Pierre Jackson with 13 points, followed by Alex Tyus with 10 points.

Olympiacos are ranked second with 13 wins and four losses, behind CSKA Moscow (13-4), while Maccabi on 8th by 9-9. Enditem
