BEIJING, Jan. 16 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.8 on the Richter scale jolted 61 km southwest of San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua at 1503 GMT on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 39.31 km, was initially determined to be at 10.9437 degrees north latitude and 86.3351 degrees west longitude. Enditem
