British stocks down 0.12 pct Monday

LONDON, Jan. 15 (Xinhua) -- British stocks decreased on Monday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index down 9.50 points or 0.12 percent at 7,769.14 points.

GKN, an automotive and aerospace components company, soared 4.14 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. WPP and ITV rose by 2.77 percent and 2.35 percent respectively.

The British software and information technology business Micro Focus International was the worst performer in the blue chips, with its shares losing 2.94 percent. NMC Health, the multinational health care company, dropped 2.26 percent. International Consolidated Airlines Group dropped 2.15 percent. Enditem
