Local runners dominate HCM City marathon

HO CHI MINH CITY, Jan. 14 (Xinhua) -- Vietnamese runners dominated the professional category of Ho Chi Minh City Marathon 2018, which was held on Sunday with the participation of over 8,000 domestic and foreign runners.

Ngo Dung and Pha Le won the men's and women's 42km events, and Phuc Cao and Phuong Nguyen finished first in the men's and women's 2km event respectively.

In the amateur category, Kim Mitsu from Japan and Jep Naum from Kenya ranked first in the men's and women's 42km event respectively. Enditem
