WTI crude futures settle higher

NEW YORK, Jan. 12 (Xinhua) -- U.S. oil prices extended gains on Friday.

The West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for February delivery increased 0.50 U.S. dollar to settle at 64.30 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Enditem
