Indonesian shuttler aims to be world's top 20

JAKARTA, Jan. 11 (Xinhua) -- A young Indonesian badminton player in the Thailand Master 2018 expected to join the world's top 20 after the tournament.

"Hopefully my rank will improve to the world's top 20," Ihsan Maulana Mustofa said on Thursday, after beating Indian Abhishek Yelegas.

Ihsan will take on Vietnamese player Cao Cuong Pham.

"I hope I can show the best performance against him," he said on the country's national badminton organization website.

Thailand Master opened on January 9 and will end on January 14 in Nimiburt Sport Stadium. Enditem
