MUMBAI, Jan. 9 (Xinhua) -- Indian markets opened marginally higher Tuesday. Equity benchmarks hit fresh record high again in opening trade, with the Sensex trading above 34,400 level.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex opened at 34,431.11, 78.32 points or 0.26 percent up compared to its previous close at 34,352.79. Enditem
