CHINA-CHONGQING-OIL PAINTING (CN)

Oil painter Luo Zhongli sketches at Sanhe Village in Lantian Township of Chengkou County, southwest China's Chongqing Municipality, Jan. 6, 2018. The 70-year-old oil painter Luo Zhongli is well-known for his masterpiece "Father", which was created in the early 1980s after he entered Sichuan Fine Art Institution in 1977. Ever since college, Luo has focused on rural-theme paintings, and for decades, he has combined his art creation with massive material and inspiration which came from his own experience in rural areas. Luo enjoys the process in creating rural-theme paintings, and he believes that the theme is worth his life's devotion. (Xinhua/Wang Quanchao)
