MEXICO CITY, Jan. 5 (Xinhua) -- Mexico's America have announced the signing of French forward Jeremy Menez and Colombian winger Andres Ibarguen for the 2018 season.

Menez, 30, joins the Liga MX side from Turkey's Antalyaspor while Ibarguen arrives from Argentina's Racing Club.

"I'm happy and proud to be a part of the biggest club in Mexico," Menez wrote on Twitter. "I promise to give my all for this shirt. See you soon."

Menez has been capped 24 times for France's national team in a career that has included spells at Monaco, Roma, Paris Saint-Germain and AC Milan.

America later published a video on their official website confirming the arrival of 25-year-old Ibarguen, whose previous clubs include Atletico Nacional and Deportes Tolima of Colombia.

America will begin their 2018 campaign by visiting Queretaro in the national Clausura tournament on Sunday. Enditem
