BERLIN, Jan. 4 (Xinhua) -- The rail route between Hamburg and Berlin was blocked Thursday evening after an ICE train with about 320 passengers collided with a deer, with no injuries, local media reported.

The route is currently blocked in both directions, and trains were diverted, according to the report by Focus Online. Federal police officers were in the field now.

No one was injured in the accident, the police said.

Later the ICE train was able to continue the journey to Ludwigslust station, where it is now being investigated by the Federal Police, Focus Online quoted the Deutsche Bahn as saying. Enditem
