6 killed in east China granary

JINAN, Dec. 29 (Xinhua) -- Six workers died after they were buried under a collapsing grain pile at a granary in east China's Shandong Province Friday.

The accident happened in Dongming County, Heze City around 8:10 a.m. Seven workers were buried by the grain pile which collapsed after a dam board broke, according to the county government.

Six workers died in hospital, and one is now in a stable condition after treatment.

The cause of the accident is under investigation. Enditem
