NEW YORK, Dec. 28 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale jolted 32 kilometers northwest of Atka, Alaska at 14:58:42 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 187.0 kilometers, was initially determined to be at 52.435 degrees north latitude and 174.484 degrees west longitude. Enditem
