Dollar hovers in lower 113 yen zone amid thin trading

TOKYO, Dec. 26 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar hovered in the lower 113 yen zone on Tuesday in Tokyo amid thin trading due to the Christmas holiday.

At 5 p.m., the dollar was quoted at 113.28-30 yen compared with 113.24-26 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Monday. It moved between 113.26 yen and 113.38 yen during the day.

The euro fetched 1.1872-1873 dollars and 134.49-53 yen against 1.1875-1876 dollars and 134.48-52 yen in Tokyo late Monday afternoon.

Financial markets in New York and London were closed Monday due to the Christmas holiday. Enditem
