Morocco arrests 4 suspects over links to terror groups

RABAT, Dec. 25 (Xinhua) -- Moroccan security services arrested on Monday four people in the southern Souss-Massa region over suspected links to terror organizations, local media reported.

According to Le360.ma news site, the suspects were arrested in the cities of Inezgane, Ait Melloul and Chtouka-Ait Baha.

The arrested include two university students as well as local merchant and resident, the same source said.

The suspects were moved to Casablanca for further investigations, it added.

Since the beginning of the year, Moroccan authorities have busted nine terror cells and arrested some 190 suspected terrorists and 20 returning fighters from conflict areas abroad. Enditem
