MOSCOW -- Reacting to the U.S. decision to sell lethal weapons to Ukraine, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement Saturday that it will lead to "new bloodshed."

"The U.S. weapons can lead to new victims in our neighboring country (Ukraine), to which we cannot remain indifferent," Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said in the statement. (Russia-U.S.)

LOS ANGELES -- A fire and explosion at an oil well site Friday night injured one worker in the U.S. state of Colorado.

According to the official page of the Weld County Sheriff's Office, the incident occurred at approximately 8:45 p.m. on Friday (0345 GMT Saturday) at an oil well site near Highway 392 and Weld County Road 21, 90 km north of Denver, the state capital. (U.S.-Explosion)

SINGAPORE -- Singapore's Keppel Corporation's Offshore & Marine unit (Keppel O&M) reached a global resolution with criminal authorities in the United States, Brazil and Singapore to pay a 422 million-US dollar fine in bribery probes, according to a statement released here Saturday.

Keppel O&M allegedly bribed the officials of the Brazilian state-run oil company Petrobras and other parties in return for contracts between 2001 and 2014, said the statement jointly issued by the Attorney-General's Chambers (AGC) and the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB) in Singapore. CAIRO -- At least 14 people were killed and seven others wounded in a car accident in Beni Sweif province some 120 km south of the capital Cairo, the Egyptian Health Ministry said in a statement Saturday.

"The accident took place as a passenger minibus collided with another vehicle at the Eastern Desert Highway in Beni Sweif," said Health Ministry's Spokesman Khaled Megahed in the statement. (Egypt-Accident)
