Morocco, Malaysia vow to cement defense cooperation

RABAT, Dec. 22 (Xinhua) -- Morocco and Malaysia are set to reinforce mutual defense cooperation, the defense administration said on Friday.

During a meeting between Abdellatif Loudiyi, the Moroccan minister delegate in charge of national defense administration, and visiting Malaysian Defence Minister Hishammuddin Hussein, they agreed to establish a win-win partnership, especially in the areas of training, sea security and defense industry, a ministry statement said.

The bilateral cooperation in the field of cybersecurity has shown good results since a cooperation memorandum of understanding was signed in 2015, the statement added.

Hussein is leading a delegation of high-ranking Malaysian military officials on a working visit to Morocco. Enditem
