State Council appoints, removes officials

BEIJING, Dec. 22 (Xinhua) -- The State Council announced the appointment and removal of several senior officials Friday.

Yu Bo replaced Jiang Jianyong as vice director of the State Administration for Religious Affairs.

Yan Chunhua was appointed president of Lanzhou University, replacing Wang Cheng.

Zhang Xiaohui was removed from the post of assistant governor of the People's Bank of China. Enditem
