ADDIS ABABA, Dec. 21 (Xinhua) -- The following are news highlights in Ethiopia's major media outlets on Thursday.

-- Inter-religious Council of Ethiopia has expressed its deepest sorrow over the loss of innocent civilians and properties damaged following the conflicts that happened in some parts of the country. (Ethiopian Broadcasting Corporation/EBC)

-- Executive Committee of the Ethiopian People's Revolutionary Democratic Front (EPRDF) has been reviewing performances of the deep renewal program launched last year. (Fana Broadcasting Corporate/FBC)

-- Ethiopia and the African Development Bank (AfDB) on Wednesday signed financing agreement amounting a 2.77 billion birr (102 million U.S. dollars) for power upgrading project in Addis Ababa. (Fana Broadcasting Corporate/FBC)

-- The government of Ethiopia is working hard to reduce stunting by half by 2020 and make free stunting children under two years by 2022.
