RIYADH, Dec. 20 (Xinhua) -- Saudi-led coalition announced on Wednesday that 85 percent of Yemen's lands are under the control of elected Yemeni government, Al Arabiya local news reported.

The spokesperson of the coalition Turki Al Maliki told a press conference that Saudi Arabia has been targeted with 83 missiles fired by Houthi militias since the beginning of the Suadi-led war on Yemen in 2015.

The spokesperson also hailed the positive stands by various countries against the recent missile attack that targeted Riyadh and was intercepted.

He said that more than 11,000 Houthi rebels were killed recently and stressed dedication to facilitate the flow of humanitarian aids to Yemenis.

Saudi Arabia accused Iran of trafficking missiles and weapons to Houthis and stand behind the instability of Yemen. Enditem
