ADDIS ABABA, Dec. 20 (Xinhua) -- The following are news highlights in Ethiopia's major media outlets on Wednesday.

--President Mulatu Teshome has expressed the Ethiopian government's readiness to adopt the necessary policy instruments for the improvement of the financial sector.
