5.0-magnitude quake hits Tibet: CENC

BEIJING, Dec. 20 (Xinhua) -- A 5.0-magnitude earthquake jolted Bayi District of Nyingchi City, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region at 1:40 a.m. on Wednesday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).

The epicenter was monitored at 29.88 degrees north latitude and 95.08 degrees east longitude. The quake hit at a depth of 6 kilometers, according to the CENC. Enditem
